Technology that Really Works: hints, tips, strategies, apps, sites and more for secondary teachers
Limited Capacity seats available

This session is all about technology and the growing relationship we secondary teachers have with it. Come and participate as we explore many ways to use technology in our classes. Bring your laptop, your google account, your cellphone, tablet and other mobile devices. Also bring your favorite software, technology-integrated activities, sites, apps, etc. since a big focus of this session will be collecting and sharing new ideas.

Expect to take away a few great ideas for technology and how you can use it in your classes, make some great contacts with other technologically interested peers and maybe even strike up a technology-focused partnership with a new friend from inside or outside your school.

Although this session is presented with an emphasis on science/technology/engineering/mathematics classes, teachers from all disciplines are certainly welcome. Plenty of good stuff for everyone!

Off-Site @ York House School - A pedagogical sharing session for senior school art teachers
Limited Capacity seats available

Think back to when you studied for your teaching qualification……..
How great was it to be surrounded by wannabe teachers collaborating and sharing ideas every day?! Many of us now work in departments where there may be just one other art teacher, or perhaps you work alone.
This full day workshop held at York House School will focus on two areas; sharing curriculum ideas, and discussing the role of the art educator in exhibition curating. The day will culminate in teachers working together to create an exhibition of student and teacher artwork from the participating independent schools. This exhibition will be on display at York House School for the month of February.
