FULL - EXPANDED TO MAXIMUM at 37: Levelling the Playing Field with the iPad
Limited Capacity seats available

This session will demonstrate how organizing, creating, curating, and sharing on the iPad can help to level the playing field for students who learn differently (so, all students!). We will attempt to answer the question, "Why the iPad" and give evidence to support our decision to go 1:1 in our department at Collingwood. In addition, we will discuss and give hands-on examples of how the device itself and how specific apps empower kids to become successful and confident learners, despite their learning style. Participants will come away with our 'backpack' of apps we think are essential in our humanities and math classes.
