Gordon Hamilton will present from Calgary at the ISABC Conference.   He presented 2 years ago at Mulgrave and participants acclaimed his input as both inspirational - and transformational for their teaching.
Work selfishly alone or together with your neighbour discovering curricular puzzles, games and unsolved problems that deserve their day in front of every student.  This class will include the following highlights:

Unfair Thrones - An original puzzle to inspire students with fractions.  It got MathPickle into the New York Times last November - I'm very happy with how it works in class.
Twin Prime Conjecture - Euclid posed this over two millennia ago, yet it is only in the last year that we've managed to make real strides into proving it.  There are some accessible classroom discoveries that make this conjecture essential in every div 3 curriculum.
Prime Number Catacombs (William Paulsen, 2000) - One of my biggest joys of the last few years was discovering William Paulsen's pedagogic gem.  It is best introduced when students are learning about exponents and powers.MathPickle
