Limited Capacity seats available

This session will summarize the findings of a professional inquiry into flipped and blended learning. Presenters will share their insights on the limitations of conventional notions of flipped or blended learning and introduce a taxonomy of content as well as the need for a new grammar of assessment. Central to the presentation will be the notion of using technology to move students along a continuum from traditional consumers of content to creators of content. The benefits to student learning are increased personalisation, activation and higher order processing. The presentation will be followed with a question and answer session and a discussion on how teachers can implement the findings in their classrooms.
