As teachers, we often collaborate within grade levels or departments: our own school communities. This workshop will explore technology-based collaboration between individuals in different independent schools. Our goal is to create a community of science teachers across ISABC who feel comfortable collaborating with each other and troubleshooting our teaching & learning needs and methods. We will be describing our experience through middle school science teaching, but we welcome all science teachers.

In a short session we will describe a collaboration between two individual science teachers in separate schools over the past three years. We will tell you our story and suggest ideas to share science lessons between ISA schools that are fun, engaging, and successful. A portion of the workshop will be spent creating this collaboration community and providing you with new resources.
