This workshop will explore secondary (middle and high school) options for Gifted Learners within Independent Schools. AP and IB are often used as vehicles to meet the needs so the workshop will touch on the research surrounding the effectiveness of these programs as well as other models. We will also discuss the issues of identification, needs and alternatives appropriate for this challenging population. Format will be involve case study, discussion, sharing and presentation.
