Critical global issues of the 21st century are increasingly being addressed by engaged teachers and students. This dynamic workshop will explore pedagogical approaches to empower a critical thinking approach to the complex issues of our changing times. Participants will get hands on experience using some of the SLS: Student Leadership in Sustainability innovative teaching technologies. Interactive activities will share how different teachers create a learning environment for their students to discover local solutions for global sustainability issues through project based learning, community-based research, collaborative leadership, and dialogue.
